iSightCornwall are seeking a people person with ideas and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality services to adults living with sight loss. We are an award-winning dynamic charity that provides a range of social, development and employability-related activities to enable and inspire individuals to improve their wellbeing, self-confidence and independence.

You will be based in Truro and spend time out and about across Cornwall, at events and visiting people in their own homes or in community settings, speaking to individuals and families. You’ll get to know local services, build networks and work in partnership with other agencies. You do not need any experience of sight loss.

This is a really varied role so you will need to be a team player but can also work on your own initiative. You need proven networking and negotiating skills, a creative approach to problem-solving and excellent planning and administration skills. You will work collaboratively with other organisations to deliver integrated sight loss services to assist individuals in their physical, social, emotional and daily life skills development. You will need excellent communication and customer service skills with the confidence to demonstrate specialist tech equipment and promote independent living.
