Watson Evans Associates are working in partnership with St Ewe Free Range Eggs to help them find the right person to be their Head of Marketing. This is a full time, permanent opportunity which will be accompanied by a salary likely to be between £35,000 and £40,000.

As the Head of Marketing, you will be key to delivering the brand message to St Ewe’s customers. Your natural enthusiasm and ability to enhance the brand will be essential in driving greater connection between St Ewe and their customers in the UK and internationally.

 

Your role will grow and develop as the company continues to do so. St Ewe have a proven track record in developing, training and supporting their team, something that can be offered to you to help prepare you for the future. In the first instance your remit as the Head of Marketing will be wide and varied, encompassing the creation and implementation of marketing strategies through to taking care of the daily basics. As your plans and strategies take shape you can expect to create and develop a team of marketing professionals. From the start, you can expect to work closely with the MD and wider management team learning the products, systems, processes, trends and customer buying journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Design, develop and implement marketing plans in line with overall commercial strategy

  • Liaise with Management Team to create target customer profiles and undertake research to understand how best to reach them

  • Create trade marketing materials, liaise with trade shows and attend when appropriate (UK and international travel will be required)

  • Create content for specific campaigns, email marketing, advertising, website and manage social media efficiently

  • Act as point of contact for press and other enquiries while managing media contact placing key messages and raising brand profile and awareness

  • Support the sales process and understand market trends and competitor activity


 

With your previous experience of brand marketing techniques, tools and platforms you will be well equipped to become St Ewe’s marketing expert and will swiftly put your communication, project management and budgeting skills to good use. If you have a food or farming orientated background then this could be an advantage, although it is not essential.
